Fly or drive to Arba Minch where the afternoon is spent on a scenic boat safari at Lake Chamo, spotting hippos and crocodiles. Along the way, visit nearby villages to experience local life. Overnight stay is in Arba Minch.
In the morning, visit the Dorze tribe, known for their traditional bamboo houses and weaving craftsmanship. Continue the journey to Konso and explore the UNESCO-listed Konso Cultural Landscape, observing terraced farms, stone sculptures, and village life. Overnight stay is in Konso.
Spend the morning walking through Konso villages and learning about local traditions before driving to Jinka or Turmi in the heart of the Omo Valley. Stop along the way to observe the stunning landscapes and the communities that inhabit them. Overnight stay is in Jinka or Turmi.
Dedicate the day to visiting the Hamer and Karo tribes. Witness the Hamer’s unique hairstyles, jewelry, and rituals, and explore the Karo tribe’s striking body paintings and scarification traditions.
